Craps Terms and Vocabulary
Craps is a popular dice game played in casinos, and it comes with a unique set of terms and vocabulary. Here’s a list of some common craps terms:
- Shooter: The player rolling the dice in a particular round.
- Come Out Roll: The first roll of the dice in a betting round, which establishes the point.
- Point: The number established on the come-out roll. The shooter aims to roll this number again before rolling a 7 to win.

- Don’t Pass Bet: The opposite of a Pass Line bet. It wins on a come-out roll of 2 or 3, loses on 7 or 11, and pushes (ties) on a 12. After the point is established, it wins if a 7 is rolled before the point.
